From textile waste to circular clothing

We take pride in our newest promotional clothing collection for Lyreco in which SaXcell takes the center stage. It’s an innovative, circular fiber made of post-industrial and post-consumer textile waste*.

A fiber to fiber solution
SaXcell stands for Sustainable & Accelerated Excellence in Cellulose. It is high-grade, regenerated cellulose fiber. The fiber is strong, soft, breathable and offers excellent wearability. Moreover, it’s also recyclable en renewable. A fiber to fiber solution which fits our sustainable ambition like a glove.

Closing the loop with FS Close
As part of our FS Close collection and, In collaboration with Blue LOOP Workwear we use SaXcell in our T-shirts, polo shirts and sweaters. With this collection we aim to close the textile loop with innovative materials and responsible production.

Caring about people and planet
As of 1 January Groenendijk is part of the Lyreco-family. We are proud to premier this innovative and sustainable collection to Lyreco colleagues across the globe. All proceeds are donated to Lyreco for Education: a program which aims to provide children living in poor conditions better access to schooling.

* Post-industrial textile is mainly trimmings created during the confection process. Post-consumer textile is used consumer textile at the end-of-life cycle which is processed into new high grade yarn. In the future SaXcell will only use post-consumer materials.
